One of the time consuming parts of many prop builds is collecting together examples of what were originally 'found parts'. Don't let the name fool you though. 'Found' parts can get very expensive.

Putting these parts up on my Web site is mostly a reminder to myself to start the builds.

At present I have the following found parts waiting for build time:

The original Sears shoe polishers, after buying a red one, the much rarer original green came available.

The original Nikon lens used to make the eye (above).

Star Trek 3D Chess

I have the small and the large transparent boards and the Ganine Conqueror and Classic Chess sets. Just need to make the base and supports.

Star Trek TOS Command Chair

So far I have not got any further than writing up a build manual and sourcing the switches

I would really like a star trek monitor on my desk that works as a Skype terminal.
